Biblical Parenting

The class on Biblical Parenting will examine what the scriptures have to say about raising children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  The goal of Christian parenting is ultimately the salvation of our children, and to enable them to become powerful witnesses for Christ in this work, through how God will shape their lives and activities.

The teaching for the class will focus on God as our Father provides a model for us to understand how to parent our children, the Biblical foundations for the marriage relationship, as well as Biblical perspectives on issues in child-rearing that we face as parents.

Lord, Increase our Faith!

A part of God's plan for his people on earth has always been that they should live by faith.   .  From Jesus we learn this is more than about just not dying, or even just surviving...but LIVING!     It's the difference between living in constant thirst, and never being thirsty.

 Harvesting from all 4 gospels a broad collection of the faith-teachings of Jesus, each week we will look at the context for a group of teachings and seek to fully understand a) what is being taught and b) what it means.  Our goal:  increased faith!   Faith of the mustard-seed variety.
