What's this?

What is RSS?

Think of it as a subscription service. ie. You probably have several magazines you subscribe to, like TIME etc. RSS is similar to that concept - You subscribe to a "feed", and that feed delivers content to your reader. For instance if you subscribed to our bulletins, each time a new one is entered, you will have an indication telling you that a new item is available.

We have an RSS feed for our bulletins, We also foresee that our Calendar will also be presented as a RSS feed. Here's a link that describes what the protocol is RSS

Newer browsers like Firefox, and Internet Explorer 7 promise support for RSS natively. You can get firefox at www.getfirefox.com  . Once you install it and visit our site, you will see at the right corner of the firefox window, something like this....

Click on the symbol marked to subscribe. It will add a bookmark to your bookmark folder. Every time you visit these bookmarks they are updated, and will contain the latest 5 bulletins.

It is possible to use a RSS reader or plugins program also. Pluck is a popular RSS reader for Internet Explorer. You could also use something like Sage(a plugin) for Firefox.
